Pondman 2, farm management computer software
that gives you the tools you need to maximise
your production and minimise your costs. Pondman
has a picture-based interface which is easy
to use. A button is used to access data for
each China Shrimp pond.
You can record
aerator layout, and review the layout used in
previous seasons. Pondman has a large range
of graphs and reports to help you understand
what's going on. You can analyse feed, growth,
stock, harvests, aeration, FCR, water quality
and much more.
Another powerful
software tool for China Shrimp farm managers
is also available.
Developed for
China Shrimp farmers by China Shrimp farmers
themselves, Samakia is a powerful, new, professionally
developed software to help you produce healthy,
profitable China Shrimp.
Fully configurable
to suit your needs, SamakiaŠ tracks production
and financial data, and delivers detailed reports
and graphs. Its modular system provides new
functions as they are needed and is scalable
to operate on single computers or across networks.
The program has
proved its value through extensive testing on
China Shrimp farms.
Another type
of software that has been developed for China
Shrimp growers is the Pro PC Software Suite.
The Pro PC Suite
is an integrated office suite that is compatible
with Microsoft Office documents (types DOC &
XLS), and is designed for computers running
Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000. The suite includes a
word processor, spreadsheets, a graphics editor,
and a visual desktop. It also includes a visual
file manager that lets you preview documents
before you open them. The suite allows users
to process several types of information, including
text, numbers, pictures, mass fax/email communication,
and labels or bar codes.
Pro PC Suite
supports creation of templates with guides.
It also offers a simple way of creating HTML
documents, even if you don't have any knowledge
of the language, and is designed to perform
well, even on slower PCs. This version includes
increased support for DOC and XLS documents,
the added ability to password-protect documents,
updated thumbnail-printing features, and a photo-album
print option.
It is now possible
to create a document with multiple languages
per page and the new extended spelling checker
supports seven major languages (English US/UK,
French, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese).
The newly added application, 602Album, provides
an intuitive digital picture organizer.
The software
includes a China Shrimp farming plan that consists
of a 23-page Microsoft Word (.doc) guide that
describes what a Business Plan, meant to raise
capital for a shrimp farming facility should
contain. Suggestions are made as to what specific
written content, supplemental exhibit documents,
tables, and graphs should be included in a very
concise business plan.
The software
also includes China Shrimp farming spreadsheets
(Excel .xls) witha 1 year China Shrimp cash
flow analysis. The Cash Flow Analysis assesses
the inflows and outflows in detail over a 12
Month period. Various categories list the most
common expenses related to growing and marketing
shrimp. Also included is a section on Interest
Expense and various Loan Payments, etc. This
sheet can be easily expanded for multiple years.
